About the Day Laborers Program

Catholic Charities, a non profit organization, has two regional laborer programs serving the greater New York City area provide critical training opportunities in various areas of construction, trades (e.g., electricity and carpentry) disaster response, and OSHA certification.

Catholic Charities provides on-the-ground support for their workers by filing wage theft claims, delivering informational workshops, and supporting their advocacy in statewide campaigns to ensure safeguards for them and their families.
